Fine Hotels & Resorts print campaign

Working with print, the best beginning is to know exactly what and how many elements are needed. The hierarchy, parity and process of approvals. As you can imagine, that fantasy is not quite how business works. Large pieces of information are altered, political relationships change and even weather is a factor in the travel business. When designing and producing any of our work, it was necessary to prepare for roadblocks in schedules, process, partner deliverables and content; I never missed a deadline. Excellent and continual communication with your team is key in this area so the design can remain fluid.

This campaign highlighted summer travel featuring exclusive offers from hotels that are a part of the Boutique and Design Collections, as well as the Platinum-level travel benefits. I developed specs, paginated for user flow of geographic sections and designed the piece with an unknown number and location of potential hotels listed. I knew the coordinating images were also contested and very, very specific, but I pulled it off as well as created added value to the communication through newly built icons for collections for this lifestyle market.
